    Methods

    Methods: 

    For the pole touch data file, data was collected on: the following dates: 11/97, 5/98, 1/99, 6/99, 1/00 and 5/00. Removals occurred in 1/98, so we have one measurement before the removals and 5 after. We measured the height intervals in meters for the pole touches using the same method of measurement that we have been using for all these years with the other landslides. The actual counts of touches in each height interval (maximum for GLE is 8, for PIO is 12 and for CYA is 36) was annotated and the percentages of possible counts was calculated based on the maxima just noted.
