I have the honor to be the LUQ LTER Information Manager. This job, although some people may think of it as tedious and boring because of the fact that it cannot exist without the constant utilization of machines, is the most rewarding and meaningful work I have ever performed in the professional world. It's about preserving the only one thing a human being can delegate and the only possible thing humanity can have for ever: knowledge. While ecologist decipher the wonders of Nature by observing, analyzing, learning... we are committed to capture all that knowledge and make it available and virtually tangible not only to everyone else on this Planet now, but to future generations. The fascinating thing is that we use the tangible product of the human mind: computers, and we use it to aid the production of even more knowledge...makes you wonder about the real limits of the human being...

I am very proud to be do the kind of job I am do and furthermore, I never get bored,  because, I can never keep up with all the possibilities this technology brings to us. That's what makes it so challenging, so interesting, so not boring...
