This overview paper (available in Plone) resulted from a tropical landslide symposium at the 2006 Association for Tropical Biology & Conservation annual meeting in Kunming, China. The symposium was organized by Carla Restrepo (UPR Rio Piedras), and the LUQ LTER (including IITF and UPR ITES) contributed financially to the symposium.
Participation in panel discussion at the ASM
Last September, I participated as a member of a panel in a discussion provided by one working group session at the All Scientist Meeting (ASM) in Estes Park, CO.
